The Pure Food Co was founded after watching a family member's illness make it impossible for him to get the nutrition he needed. The emotional impact set us on a mission. We wanted to find out how we could help people thrive when they were at their most vulnerable.
Our research found a complex & costly challenge around nutrition exists, that is impacting the health & happiness of older people, and placing huge strain on aged and health care sectors.
However it is a challenge that can be met with the right tools and technology. Improving nutrition will greatly impact the health & happiness of older people, and reduce overall healthcare costs.
Our mission at The Pure Food Co is to create delicious foods that are full of fresh ingredients and fortified with natural nutrition. We want to ensure everyone gets the nutrition they need so they can thrive and age positively.
About the role
This position will see you building a new client base and consulting with future clients, demonstrating how the right solution can meet their specific needs. You will acquire new B2B/P2P relationships built on a solid foundation creating long term and fruitful relationships where both seller and buyer receive value.
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying market intelligence, best practice and relevant trends to guide decision making
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to maintain and increase market share, as well as forecast and plan future growth
- Building on our experience in aged care and with fortified foods, finding ways to tailor options that suit the residents needs, and the business of the potential customer
- Planning and setting client call cycles (mostly in Auckland but you will be required to travel to the regions for one or two nights every few months)
- Develop market plans in conjunction with the Directors to improve sales revenues and drive business performance
What do you need to have?
We are looking for a highly motivated team player who is energetic and passionate about providing outstanding service. You have a drive to succeed and the compassion and empathy to improve the outcomes of our elderly, in New Zealand and abroad.
You will have a high level of integrity and dependability and a proven successful track record within a Sales or Business Development role. You are a self driven hunter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to confidently engage with people at all levels. You not only negotiate and influence but, more important to us, you educate and aspire to become our clients Trusted Advisor of their kitchen.
Experience in the food manufacturing, hospitality (food service) or health services would obviously be beneficial.
